It is rather difficult to make plans and then carry it out when your dad is thrown into this line of work where anything, or rather anyONE can come anytime he wishes and so all family plans have to be put on hold. A promised destination is left hanging because my dad may not be as free as we thought he would be. Now, it wouldn't be so much of a family vaccation if not everyone is there, would it? Sometimes I wish I could express my frustration/disappointment by just telling them that I wouldn't mind going alone. Selfish, I know. There are certain things that has to be done this end of the year and cannot be put on hold. Yet, there are also some things that can wait till the following year. All this waiting is not good. No.

No matter how often you hear sweet words repeated, it still makes a difference if it's said by someone you know who really means it. Well in this case, it definitely took me some time to believe and repeated 'Are you sure? You thought of that?' to convince myself that it really came from the heart.

So now there are only 2 days left. Oh Joy!
